Frequently Asked Questions - Intensive Traing Week

For your convenience, here are some frequently asked questions from parents and our answers.  If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

We help children overcome developmental related issues such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, dyslexia CP and more.
The intensive therapy is from the 13th to the 17th of February at NW7 Mill Hill Broadway, London
The intensive starts with a full neurological assessment. There are 2 sessions of 90 minutes each on the first 4 days.
On the 5th day there will be one session.
This is 13.5 hours in total.
Dr. Omer’s has over 12 years of experience working with children, many of which are low functioning non-verbal or very sensative to touch. all of us being parents to special kids have seen it all and dealt with challenging situations.
Yes, the price of the intensive includes our support for the first 3 months, a follow up call with Dr Omer and 2 follow up calls with Dana and Adi to ensure parents are confident in implementing the plan correctly, when needed Dr Omer will always attend the additional calls.
Our goal is to help children overcome their challenges, improve their health, and create positive changes in their nervous systems as a result of the above.
We base Our work on Dr. Robert Melillo’s Method which focuses on child development and improving the lives of tens of thousands of children.

The therapy is tailored individually to the areas of development that didn’t develop as expected in a hemespheric way.
At the end of the intensive week, each family will receive a detailed ‘Home Program’ to maximize the benefits of the intensive week for the months and years to come.

Yes, we activate and stimulate the brain networks, integrate primitive reflexes, increasing vagal tone, and core strength together with stabalizing the body and balance.
Understanding the complexity of speech production is essential for addressing speech and language disorders and developing effective interventions.
Addressing retained primitive reflexes, core strength, vestibular and developmental challenges are the building blocks of speech and articulation and essential to achieve progress.
Melillo’s method is a research prooven aproach designed to address various neurological issues, including ADHD, dyslexia, and autism spectrum disorders. The program aims to improve the balance and communication between the two hemispheres of the brain.
It typically involves a combination of sensory-motor exercises, cognitive activities, and dietary interventions.
All devices used in our intensive are US FDA approved and safe for children and adults alike.
This research shows the efficiency of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) in  modulate neural activity in the human brain painlessly and non-invasively with weak electrical currents.
* As a side note- in our intensive we use half of the current used in the research above.
LLLT (laser) –  is designed to provide external energy for the neurons so they can better utilise the stimulation were oroviding by various means to grow and become more efficient. We target a component on the cell called chromophores
especially in the mitochodria, which allows it to produce more ATP.
With TENS we’re looking for passive tactile (mostly) stimulation. Adverse effects are only skin irritation when there’s an allergy to the stickers.
Usually it is a very safe form of stimulation that has been in use for decades.
Day 1 – The first session is dedicated for assessment – primitive reflexes, vestibular function, balance if possible, core strength if possible, compartment muscle tone if possible, eye function if possible etc. The afternoon session on the first day – additional tests if neccesary, or initiation of therapy.
Day 2-4  – Therapy and parent training. Primitive reflexes, vestibular, core, brain hemispheric balancing and integration.
Day 5 – Post testing for selected findings, answering any questions, additional therapy if time allows.
We usually look at nutritional needs during the week as well, and discus home dynamics and parenting styles etc.
1. We are in a unique position in the UK offering an intensive program where the parents take an active part during the week.
we guide the parents on how to do the exercises following Melillo method. Parents feel confident to apply the changes at home as they practiced and implemented the excercises during the intensive week.
2. At any given time your child will be working with either 2 or 3 certified therapists.
3) Dr. Omer has specialized in childhood neurology for more than 12 years and is flying in, especially for the intensive.
4) We will spend almost 14 full hours with you (not including the additional assessments) during the week, which is like doing almost 19 weeks’ worth of regular therapy! On top of that, there are the extra hours of building a unique plan for your child and the ongoing support you will be getting.
5. You will be getting 2 Zoom calls with Dana and Adi and 1 with Dr. Omer within the first 3 months following the intensive! of our time and expertise because we want you to succeed and see faster results.
6) The plan you will be getting should be good for at least 6 months of training in which you will not need to have a paid appointment unless you choose to book an additional appointment.
7) finally, over 12 years of experience on Dr. Omer’s end, and all of us being parents to special kids, we get it!
