All the devices used in our intensive program are US FDA approved and safe for both children and adults.
Research has demonstrated the effectiveness of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS). These techniques modulate neural activity in the human brain using weak electrical currents, and they are administered painless and non-invasively.
As a side note, during our intensive program, we utilize half of the current intensity used in the research mentioned above.
Additionally, we employ Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), which provides external energy to neurons. This energy helps neurons utilize the stimulation we provide through various means, promoting growth and efficiency. Specifically, we target a cellular component called chromophores, especially within the mitochondria. This process enhances ATP production.
Furthermore, we incorporate Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). TENS aims for passive tactile stimulation, primarily. The only adverse effects typically observed are skin irritation, which may occur if there’s an allergy to the stickers. Overall, TENS is a very safe form of stimulation that has been in use for decades.
